Catering Truck Wrapping Yorkshire

We received delivery of a Volvo FH tractor unit with a 13m fridge trailer to our premises in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The vehicle was to be wrapped in preparation for The Cakes Campaign Charity. The charity, founded by a small group of volunteers from Bradford, provides aid for victims of the civil war in Syria.

The concept is simple: Sell Cakes – Save Lives.

With all proceeds going to the Syrian cause, this added a wider charitable element to proceedings. We knew that this catering vehicle wrapping project had to be eye-catching, helping to highlight the magnificent work being done by Adams Foodservice and the charity.

The Catering Vinyl Wrap Process

After a consultation with the Paul Turner design team, Adams Foodservice decided to work with us on their latest catering vehicle vinyl wrap project. The project was for the wrapping of a Volvo FH tractor unit with a 13m fridge trailer. Adams Foodservice already had a design from the charity which they shared with us. We then undertook the following catering truck wrapping process:

–        We asked for the vehicle to be brought to us to be photographed and measured. This enabled us to set up the artwork correctly on the exact vehicle and raised any concerns we had.

–        Having all the measurements we could bring the vehicle drawings up to scale. This allowed for the design work to be best adapted onto the trailer and cab, ready to be sent across for approval by the customer.

–        The next step was to produce colour samples of their vehicle graphics for the customer to approve before going to print.

–        Our design team set the artwork up ready for print. This meticulous process ensured the vinyl would look seamless, following the width of each panel on the trailer.

–        It was then sent through to print which was completed on our HP700 latex printer.

–        Our production team proceeded to laminate the vehicle wrap and graphics using a gloss overlaminate and cut out each panel ready for installation.

–        As this was a used truck and trailer, cleaning and preparation was key on this vehicle. This ensured all areas were suitable for the vehicle wrap to be applied.

–     Finally, our installation team turned this full vehicle round in a few days. Ready to highlight the great work undertaken by the charity for years to come.

This project was completed to the highest of standards.
